Crash Course Psychology
A psychological lens in literary theory is a wonderful example of the interdisciplinary world of English and literature. Like psychology, a psychoanalytical lens in literature seeks to ask some of the bigger questions about human nature, why someone behaves the way they do, how they handle trauma, and more. Crash Course has a great series on psychology that might come in handy for those of you that are most interested in this lens or for those of you that need a little more information to better understand how to use this lens.
Here's an introductory video on psychology, including some info on Freud's views. However, there are several topics on other videos in this series. You are welcome to look at any of them and use them in your papers.
