Extra Credit: Film Analysis
Extra Credit Assignments:
Watch one of the following films and write a one-page review. In this review, include the name of the film, the director, and the year it was released. The first paragraph should be a summary of the film. The second paragraph should include your opinion of the way the culture is depicted, along with textual evidence (an explanation of a scene that demonstrates your position and why it matters). The final sentences should be whether you recommend this film to someone or not and why.
Most of these films are rated PG and PG-13. Please check with your family’s movie guidelines before viewing. I will add more films to this list as the year progresses. Further, if you have a great selection for us, let me know!
