September 11th Review and Assignment

This week, please read section III of The Joy Luck Club, continue your work on your literary circles, and do a bit of research on Chinese Factories and their workers. What is life like for them? What does a typical day look like? How much do they make? You will not need to write on this but jot some notes down to help you participate in our discussion next week. How does this inform your understanding of the "Tiger Mom" parenting style?
